This week, we proudly celebrated the children and families of the Morris Street School Family Resource Center Playgroup as they marked an exciting milestone- moving up to preschool and kindergarten!

Throughout the year, these young learners have grown through play, exploration, friendship, and discovery while their families built connections and strengthened their role as their child’s first and most important teacher. Watching these children gain confidence, independence, and readiness for their next educational journey has been truly inspiring.

Congratulations to all of our Playgroup graduates and their families! We are so proud of all you have accomplished and can’t wait to see the amazing things you will do in preschool, kindergarten, and beyond.

A special thank you to our dedicated staff and families, as well as a host of community members, The Early Childhood Council of Western CT, the Danbury Board of Education, and the Danbury Library for their continued partnership and support. Together, we are helping build strong foundations for lifelong learning and ensuring our youngest learners have every opportunity to thrive.
