Need Hardware Help?
Before you ask for help, do a little troubleshooting on your own:
- Check the computer plugs (both electrical and Internet cable) - sometimes they are just not tightly plugged to the outlet or Internet drop.
- Restart the computer. That often helps many problems.
- Unplug any attached devices like disk drives, printers, or memory keys. If the computer works correctly without them, the problem is the device, not the computer.
If your email is working, you can email your problem to" helpdesk" do not call 2617, as that number is no longer in use. Include in the email message the following information:
- Your full name
- School
- Room number
- Type of computer
- Detailed description of the problem including what you already tried to do to help the problem.

Please note: The Technology Services Help Desk position has been eliminated. Please follow these steps for computer repair services:
If you need printer toner, please email Nancy Gomez with your request. If you cannot email, please call Nancy at x2851. We do not supply copier toner.
For middle schools, elementary schools, and all other administrative offices:
- Contact your building based Technology Aide, Media Specialist or Technology Leader
- Email the user named "helpdesk"
- If your email and Internet are not working and your technology aide is not in the building, then please call in this order: 948-5261 (Networking Specialist), 790-2618 (Student Data & Systems Specialist), 790-2851 (Technology Associate), 790-2684 (Director of Technology), 948-5252 (Director of Technology)
At Danbury High School:
- Contact your building Technology Leader
- Call x2615 (Computer Technician or Citrix Specialist)
- Email the user named "helpdesk"
- If your email and Internet are not working and you cannot reach your building based technical support staff, then please call in this order: 948-5261 (Networking Specialist), 790-2618 (Student Data & Systems Specialist), 790-2851 (Technology Associate), 790-2684 (Director of Technology), 948-5252 (Director of Technology)
