Middle Schools Information Technology Program
Danbury Public Schools

Danbury has two middle schools, both of which have equivalent computers and the same program. Sixth grade students rotate through a five-week unit of instruction in both keyboarding and the use of technology. Most of the instruction in use of technology, however, is integrated into lessons conducted by classroom teachers. Through such integrated instruction, our students strive to meet the Middle School Technology Competencies. Classroom teachers are supported by both the media specialists and the middle schools technology leader.
