BEST Support for New Teachers
Danbury hires only the best! We are committed to helping our outstanding new teachers navigate through the BEST program for certification in the State of Connecticut. Connecticut requires all beginning teachers to participate in the BEST program (Beginning Educator Support and Training) that involves receiving assistance from a trained mentor and completing and passing a portfolio assessment within three years. Resources available to assist the beginning teacher are found at ctbest.org
